The Role

As we ramp up our growth across key markets, we are adding more SDR’s to the team. This role with help power our outbound function, driving the early stage traction within our sales pipeline – identifying opportunities and booking meetings with target businesses.

CommVersion’s core markets are the UK and US– this role will be 70% focussed on US sales.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting up sales meetings – typically Zoom web-demos with our Account Executives – with businesses from target sectors and geographies
  • Working closely with Account Executives to ensure a consistent customer journey through the sales funnel
  • Identifying new market opportunities using your knowledge of CommVersion’s value proposition and the characteristics of target customers
  • Direct/outbound outreach across a range of channels including email, telephone and LinkedIn – this includes cold calling (!)
  • Develop and implement your own outbound campaigns in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Segmenting opportunities by sector, geography and expected value, then implementing tailored go-to-market strategies for each
  • Utilising our sales tech stack (including Zoominfo, Pipedrive, Aircaller and more) to enhance outbound efficiency

The Growth Team is the engine which drives customer acquisition across the globe. It operates as a specialist team within the business, responsible for scaling our presence in core markets through direct sales and marketing, identifying opportunities in new sectors and delivering on the business’s ambitious growth plans.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Degree from a well-regarded university is preferable
  • Prior success in effectively developing and managing an outbound pipeline, ideally at a SaaS company (not a must if you have transferable skills developed in other areas)
  • Excellent oral communication skills – must have the ability to communicate confidently and persuasively with senior and middle management at prospect companies
  • Strong sales copywriting – The ability to write creative and thoughtful emails
  • Hustle – High level of tenacity and a ‘get-things-done’ attitude
  • Methodical and process driven – The best results will come from doing the right things…Consistently!
  • Competitive nature and enjoy working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • A demonstrated ability to be coached and trained with an ambition to learn, develop, and progress a career in sales
  • A personable and persistent character, not afraid of rejection and never shying away from asking questions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity – We need people who can think for themselves and have entrepreneurial mindsets
