Designation:            Content Marketing Manager

The Role

As Content Manager, you will be focussed on growing revenue through the design, management and implementation of all marketing content. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success, Sales and Product teams to develop content for our target audiences. This will include creation and distribution of case studies, white papers, blogs and video content. To date, CommVersion has primarily driven new business through an outbound ‘sales-led’ approach. We see a fantastic content marketing programme as the next stage of the business’s commercial and brand development. Whether it’s creating brand awareness in target markets or driving inbound leads through engaging and well-crafted content, this role will give you the scope to get creative whilst focussing on driving value for the business.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working with senior leadership to develop content strategy in support of business goals
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content including customer stories, thought leadership, white papers, blog posts, and video scripts
  • Working with designers to enhance the branding and user journey of CommVersion’s website and digital presence (including social media accounts)
  • Promote content across a range of mediums, including social media, email, PR and industry publications for target customer cohorts
  • Monitor and report on content performance to aid the business’s understanding of marketing and media effectiveness
  • Help build and manage a team of freelancers, overseeing content plans and managing budget

 

Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding storytelling, copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
  • Track record of developing engaging and concise website copy and content
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for B2B and performance marketing
  • Track record of developing and executing 360° marketing, communications and thought leadership campaigns from start to finish across all channels
  • Attention to detail and a data-driven mindset
  • Highly organised, enjoys collaborating with others to achieve strategic goals
  • Enjoy a mixture of hands-on content production and managing external teams to deliver content with results
  • Clear understanding of branding and the importance and development of key messages
  • An eye for visuals/design and experience managing designer teams to bring content to life
  • Ability to use data to clearly articulate product benefits to customers as well as to report on the impact of marketing activity across the business
